Dilworth School

Project Description

Dilworth has three campuses – Junior, Senior and Rural – all of which are boarding schools. To make sure the boys have the best environment to live and learn in, the buildings need to remain in top condition both inside and out.

The school required a maintenance company with experience in both modern and heritage sites, as the collection of the Dilworth buildings varies greatly in their age, condition and substrates. We also needed to ensure that all of the work at Dilworth could be carried out safely and respectfully of others on-site, due to the variety of activities underway at any given time.

Project Solution

Programmed was initially given the opportunity to complete a small project at the Dilworth Senior campus in 1998. The project demonstrated to the school the high level of care and attention to detail we are capable of.

Consequently, we were given further projects across Dilworth’s collection of properties, and this allowed us to develop knowledge of the maintenance requirements at each campus. Working with the school, we developed a set of interior and exterior long-term maintenance programmes customised specifically for the variety of substrates and age of buildings across all campuses.

Project Outcome

The strong relationship between Programmed and Dilworth School ensures that each campus always looks its best, imparting the sense of belonging and pride that is at the core of the school’s values. The work completed is always of the highest quality and the long-term painting maintenance programmes employed at the school guarantee that the presentation of its buildings is always exceptional.
