Labor Business Roundtable 2023 Budget Night Sundowner with former Premier Mark McGowan and WA Labor Cabinet Ministers.

Jul 26, 2023

On 11 May 2023, Programmed was pleased to co-sponsor the State Government’s Budget Sundowner at Kings Park.

Programmed’s footprint in Western Australia is significant: we directly employ over 5,000 Western Australians in various sectors ranging from the resource industry to health care.

Our service delivery spans thousands of sites and tens of thousands of buildings. We work with a network of over 800 contractors, many of them small to medium enterprises, to deliver critical services to schools, TAFEs, emergency services, community housing and some of WA’s most treasured cultural institutions.

As a major job creator in WA, Programmed works closely with the State Government, and it is always a pleasure to hear first-hand how the Budget benefits businesses and the community in which we live and work.

John Pirie was on-hand to introduce the MC for the evening, Minister David Templeman. It was also a great opportunity to chat with other Ministers and community leaders, including the-then Premier and Treasurer, Mark McGowan, and the new Premier of our State, Roger Cook.

We look forward to our continuing engagement with the new Minister and wish Mr McGowan all the best for whatever the future holds.
