ACT
Programmed carries out a diverse portfolio of work in the ACT. We partner with more than 300 government agencies on small and large-scale projects and run various social inclusion programs.
We’re proud to be making a positive difference in our nation’s capital.
We work with a large range of government departments and agencies, providing staffing solutions across local, state and federal government. Last year Programmed people spent more than 280,000 hours supporting government initiatives.
One of our most visible projects in the ACT is the important job of painting Parliament House, Canberra.
Behind the scenes, we’re busy too. Programmed keeps people and businesses connected installing video conferencing, digital media systems and audio-visual solutions.
Another big component of the work we do in the ACT is running social inclusion programs to provide training and employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians and disadvantaged individuals. We do this because it’s the right thing to do and because we’re committed to giving back to the communities where we work.
In 2021 we ran the following social inclusion programs in the ACT:
- 5 Social inclusion programs
- 5 Youth Interchange programs
- 6 community trade workshops
- 5 Trade for a Day workshops
- 2 Meet and Greet Trade Workshops for high school/college
- 5 Housing ACT Social Enterprises Training and Employment Pathways programs.
