Our Customer

A co-educational secondary school in Canberra, Lyneham High School was founded in 1959 and currently has over one thousand students.

Project Description

Lyneham High School (Lyneham High) is committed to care, quality and creativity and wanted the school environment to reflect those values. Being one of the older education facilities in Canberra, the colour scheme was starting to look dated. Lyneham High decided a repaint would modernise and uplift the appearance of the school.

Programmed was elected to repaint the common internal areas and provide a long term paint maintenance programme. With Programmed coming highly recommended by other schools, Lyneham High were confident that Programmed’s expertise and ability would deliver a quality solution.

Project Solution

Previous painting works the school had undertaken had not adhered properly to the walls. To ensure the new paint coating Programmed applied would last, we carefully stripped back all these existing layers of paint which had started to peel.

Our team of painters from Canberra completed the works over the December school holiday period, successfully avoiding any disruption to the usual running of the school. New carpets were also installed to complement the look and feel of the corridors in their bright modern colours.

Project Outcome

From hues of bright pink to tones of green, orange and red, the freshly painted internal walls have rejuvenated the school. As Lyneham High and its students enjoy their upgraded new look facilities, regular maintenance will assure them that prospective students can do so too in the future.
