Programmed Property Services (PPS) have been recognised for the quality of our painting projects, taking home a total of four awards at the 2017 Master Painter (VIC) Awards for Excellence.
Topping the list was the repaint of the Melbourne Cricket Ground’s (MCG) Great Southern Stand steel structures which won top honours in the Commercial Repaint category. The Melbourne Cricket Club, who are responsible for the MCG, has entrusted Programmed to maintain the iconic MCG site for several decades. This project required a strict safety management plan to mitigate the various high risk works involved with the restoration. Delivery was within schedule, on-budget with no incidents despite the tight timeframe for completion.
For our carefully considered approach to protecting the environment and ensuring work on the prestigious Martha Cove apartments did not impact the waterways, we were placed first in the Enviropainter Project category. Reinstating the exterior of this waterfront strata community in Mount Martha meant we had to be particularly careful when planning, managing and executing the project to high environmental standards. Multiple access methods were required to maintain the safety of residents, their visitors as well as our staff throughout.
For our work at the Linacre Private Hospital in Hampton , we took home the High distinction in the Enviropainter Project, where we juggled exacting safety and environmental standards to complete an interior and exterior repaint in this fully operational hospital. Linacre CEO Austin Wills was so impressed that he’s looking at the other services that Programmed has to offer, saying that “it’s such a benefit to partner with a company like Programmed that can provide a one-stop-shop for our maintenance needs.”
Programmed also achieved a High Distinction in the Commercial Repaint category for our work on the Treasury Gardens Apartments in East Melbourne. In repainting the exteriors of the 48 luxury apartments, we called on our specialist abseil painters to access hard to reach areas safely. We were able to avoid disruptions to residents and neighbours, and have been engaged by nearby owners as a result.
