PET’s Olympic-sized win

Dec 11, 2019

We’re thrilled to announce Programmed has secured a five-year electrical maintenance contract for the Melbourne and Olympic Parks Precinct.

This precinct encompasses state of the art facilities such as Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park, Hisense Arena, Margaret Court Arena and Melbourne Park Function Centre.

The precinct supports several of Victoria’s highest profile sporting teams across multiple disciplines, not to mention world class entertainers on a regular basis.

Programmed Electrical Technologies (PET) will be engaged in providing comprehensive maintenance services, corrective works, minor projects and support services for iconic events such as the upcoming Australian Open tennis tournament in January 2020.

With around 600 events and attracting over 2.5 million people annually, Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust (MOPT) are relying on Programmed’s partnership to be center stage to assist in delivering a world class experience for their customers.

PET’s experience and technical knowledge will ensure each event provides MOPT customers with an exciting and enriching experience each time they attend each arena.

Winning this contract in such a competitive market is a credit to the hard work and dedication of our PET team, who overcame major competition from well established companies in the industry.

MOPT were very impressed by our conscientious approach to safety and technology which provided them with workflow efficiencies and a greater understanding of their environment.

Contracts like this one promote to an audience of new and existing clients Programmed’s dedication to safety, professionalism, reliability and ability to stay at the forefront of technology within a complicated industry.
