PPS earns its angel wings

Dec 3, 2020

Paul Low, a new Business Development Manager, worked tirelessly to secure a high value exterior paint job of a medium highrise aged care facility in western Sydney amid the height of the COVID-19 pandemic
in NSW.

Our team were able to complete the job to an impeccable standard. However, in the process, our abseilers accidentally damaged an angel statue belonging to one of the residents. Gifted to her by her best friend of 20 years to represent her two children, the statue was irreplaceable to the resident.

When Paul heard about the incident, he knew he had to do something to help. After an extensive search, he found a pottery maker on the other side of the city. He arranged for the angel to be repaired and returned to the resident with a bunch of flowers and a card sincerely apologising for what had happened, causing the resident to burst into tears.

The village manager commented that she had never seen a contractor act in such an empathetic way. This is a testament to Paul’s understanding and compassionate nature, qualities that make us proud to have him as part of our team.
