Programmed and Specialised Management Group were proud to co-sponsor Data Centre World Australia, bringing together our people and expertise alongside industry leaders and professionals for three days of learning, collaboration and connection. The event provided a valuable opportunity to exchange insights, strengthen industry relationships and showcase how our combined capabilities support critical facilities and the continued growth of the data centre sector.
A key highlight was introducing EDGE (Emerging Data Centre Generation of Experts), our upcoming traineeship program in collaboration with Victoria University. Designed to help build the next generation of skilled data centre talent, EDGE will support new career pathways into this rapidly growing industry.
Our team also shared their expertise on stage. Nat Hickox, Head of Facility Management, joined a panel discussion on attracting and retaining data centre talent, while Ahmad Siddiqui, GM Operational Excellence and Mark Simmons, Director at Specialised Management Group explored how people, processes and technology can strengthen operational readiness and reliability.

Back at the stand, our reflex challenge was a crowd favourite, with plenty of attendees competing for the top spot. Congratulations to Jake, who topped the leaderboard with an impressive reaction time of just 0.556 seconds!

It was also fantastic to reconnect with organisations we’ve partnered with on previous projects and continue building relationships across the sector.
A huge thank you to everyone across Programmed and Specialised whose hard work helped make the event a success. We look forward to continuing the conversations and collaborations started at Data Centre World Australia.
