Programmed making a difference in the local community

Feb 26, 2018

Our team working on the contract at Hopkins Correctional Centre continue to support the efforts of the local junior fire brigade, who were in need of an upgrade to their running track.

“Mark Jeffery and Peter Thomas were quick to come to me with the proposal of helping,” Said Matthew Waites, Operations Manager, Programmed Facility Management.

Mark and Peter met with the local junior fire brigade team and went about setting out and remarking their track with line marking so that they could continue with their training and hopefully becoming valued fire volunteers or employees.

“For myself, it was gratifying to have the young members come up and personally thank me on behalf of Programmed for the work that was completed,” Said Matthew Waites, Operations Manager, Programmed Facility Management.

Although they were not present for a photo with the junior team, the team would like to thank Programmed, Mark and Peter for their work.
