Ronald McDonald House Tour

Oct 8, 2025

A few members of the Programmed WA team recently had the honour of visiting Ronald McDonald House WA, and it was nothing short of inspiring.

We were deeply impressed by:

  • The 24/7, 365-day supported accommodation and facilities that ensure families can stay close to their seriously ill children, even when treatment takes them far from home.
  • The in-hospital Family Rooms, where parents and carers can rest, reconnect, and find solace during difficult hospital visits.
  • The Ronald McDonald Learning Program (RMLP), which helps children keep up with their education while undergoing medical treatment.

As we walked through the spaces, it was evident how much care and thought had been invested in every detail from peaceful corners and calming colours to communal areas designed to bring families together, support one another, and draw strength from community. Through our partnership, Programmed is proud to provide ongoing maintenance support, helping to ensure these facilities remain welcoming, safe, and comfortable for families.

A massive thank you to the incredible staff and volunteers at RMHC WA for their warm welcome. We are proud to support such a meaningful cause.
