Showcasing Our Expertise at Deakin University’s Annual Summit

Sep 18, 2025

The VIC Business Analytics team at Programmed Facility Management recently had the privilege of delivering a dynamic session at Deakin University’s Annual Summit for Business Analytics students. This event was an outstanding opportunity for Programmed to showcase the scope of the Business Analyst role and connect with the next generation of talent in the industry.

Over four hours of engaging content and activities, the session began with a high-level introduction to Programmed, its values, and the role of Facility Management. The team then provided an in-depth look at the Business Analytics and Business Analyst function, highlighting key pillars of practice and the real impact their work delivers.

To demonstrate their capabilities, the team presented striking data visualisations underscoring the importance of strong communication and stakeholder engagement. An interactive quiz kept students actively involved and helped reinforce key takeaways.

The Graduate Program and Career Pathways were also introduced, offering insights into the exciting opportunities available to aspiring business analysts. Real-world case studies brought the team’s work to life, showing how theory translates into practice.

The session concluded with a networking opportunity, allowing students to meet the team one-on-one, ask questions, and explore potential career paths. This not only highlighted the value of the Business Analyst team but also strengthened Programmed’s position as an employer of choice for future graduates.

Overall, the event was a great success, and we’re excited to continue inspiring and connecting with the next generation of business analysts.
