Our Customer

Located in Hurstville, NSW, Danebank Anglican School is a leading independent girls’ school with a strong focus on creating positive, engaging learning environments for its students from Kindergarten through to Year 12.

With a commitment to maintaining high-quality learning spaces, the school identified an opportunity to upgrade and repurpose existing areas within its campus to better serve early learners.

Project Description

The project involved transforming an existing staff room and office area into two modern kindergarten classrooms. The goal was to create a bright, compliant, and engaging environment for young students, while ensuring minimal disruption to the school’s daily operations.

Programmed Property Services was engaged to deliver the full refurbishment, from demolition through to final finishes. The project scope included compliance upgrades and aesthetic improvements that aligned with the school’s educational vision and operational needs.

Project Solution

The Programmed Building Projects team undertook:

  • Full internal demolition, including removal of the existing reception area and internal walls, while retaining key structural elements.

  • Installation of all-new cabinetry, tailored for early learning functionality and accessibility.

  • New double-glazed doors to enhance acoustic performance and energy efficiency.

  • Ceiling replacement and updates to lighting for improved comfort and ambience.

The works were completed within an eight-week program, delivered on schedule and without disruption to school operations. Open communication and collaboration between the local experts from our Sydney office and the school ensured smooth coordination throughout the build.

Project Outcome

The refurbishment successfully converted underutilised office and staff space into two vibrant, child-friendly classrooms. The result is a natural, welcoming learning environment designed to support engagement, creativity, and comfort for young students.

Delivered on time and to specification, the project was met with high satisfaction from the school’s management and teaching staff.

The upgraded classrooms now provide an inviting and compliant space for kindergarten students to learn and grow, reinforcing Danebank Anglican School’s commitment to quality education and facilities.
