Work and Smile: People of Programmed – Meet Zac Pruiti-Ciarello

Dec 15, 2025

We’re back out across Western Australia connecting with the people who demonstrate our Work and Smile vision every day. Today, we’re proud to spotlight Zac – a true all-rounder and one of the team members featured in our series. 🛠️✨

As the Operations Relief Manager across our WA Resources Operations, Zac is a true jack of all trades, stepping into critical roles across our remote village operations that include Village Manager, Airfield Operations, and Chef. Zac’s work ensures every site continues running smoothly, no matter what the day brings.

Zac began his career as a chef, mastering his craft in busy kitchens before expanding into village management and airfield operations. Over time, he’s developed a rare combination of technical knowledge, operational insight, and leadership capability that allows him to support teams across multiple disciplines.

A skilled project manager, Zac keeps village campuses functioning seamlessly, adapting to each environment with ease and professionalism. His ability to move between roles, sometimes on very short notice, has made him an invaluable resource to teams working in the unique world of outback facility management.

Zac says one of the most fulfilling parts of his job is the diverse challenges it offers that keep his work endlessly interesting, and of course, the people he gets to work with.
