Programmed is excited to be recognised by global networking platform, WORK180 as an endorsed employer for women.

At Programmed, we aspire to create and maintain a safe and sustainable, inclusive culture across the business accompanied by creating a diverse workplace that is about recognising, respecting and valuing people from all backgrounds.

Work180 is a global jobs network that operates with the primary purpose of empowering every woman to choose a workplace where they can thrive. As an advocate for working women, they provide applicants with a transparent directory of endorsed employers who support diversity, inclusion and equality.

Our Journey

Programmed was first endorsed by WORK180 in 2018. To become an endorsed employer, organisations are required to demonstrate that they meet the minimum benchmark criteria to ensure that our policy and benefits best support women’s careers. You can view our employer page here.

In 2019, we established the Disability Engagement Network and Pride Reference Groups. The establishment of these employee networking groups was to ensure that employees had a space where they could be their authentic selves, have the opportunity to educate themselves and others and advocate for inclusive policy and practice.

In April 2020, recognising the changes to our working environments and the deeper need for us all to maintain connection, we launched our Keeping Connected network. All internal salaried employees are able to access the platform. There is currently a general chat space, parenting support forum and wellness forum.

Over the next 12 months, it is our aim to continue progressing our hard work by focusing on:

  • Continuing to support and strengthen Programmed as an employer of choice for women and recognise the good work of our people internally in their efforts towards inclusion and leadership in equality.
  • Increasing our talent pool of women, particularly for women in trades and leadership roles.

We hope that by continuing our partnership with WORK180 we will have access to a broader female talent community, which will help us to attract and recruit the best talent and increase the diversity within our team.
