Programmed Enhances Support for One of Australia’s Largest Water Providers

Jul 1, 2025

We are thrilled to share that our partnership with Urban Utilities is expanding, with Programmed set to provide more services at additional sites.

In 2023, Urban Utilities partnered with Programmed Facility Management to deliver an Integrated Facilities Management solution across several of their assets. We are now excited to share that this partnership is expanding, with Programmed set to provide more services at additional sites.

Programmed and Urban Utilities team gearing up for Day 1 of go-live

Urban Utilities is one of Australia’s largest water distributor-retailers, providing water and wastewater services to over 1.6 million customers across five local government regions in South East Queensland, including Brisbane, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim, and Somerset. The utility prides itself on being a “human-centred” business, focused on enriching quality of life, and Programmed shares this philosophy.

Urban Utilities has sought support for its long-term strategy and immediate maintenance needs, and Programmed is pleased to assist them on this journey where we will be providing Facilities Maintenance Services, Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance.

This exciting expansion with Urban Utilities marks another step in Programmed’s commitment to supporting thriving communities across South East Queensland.

Graeme Hurn, CEO of Programmed Facility Management, shared: “This growing partnership reflects the trust placed in Programmed to deliver the essential services that keep our communities flowing”.

Robert Coe, Head of Facility Management for QLD & National Contracts, said: “This expanded partnership with Urban Utilities is about more than just service delivery. It’s about deepening our relationship, continually lifting our performance, and creating real opportunities for the communities we work in through initiatives like Programmed’s Water Academy.”

The mobilisation period for Programmed with Urban Utilities has begun and is set to go live on the 1st of July.
