Programmed marks a significant step in its commitment to public housing maintenance delivery

Jul 20, 2024

Programmed is appointed to maintain three regions across the Homes NSW public housing portfolio.

Programmed, as a newly appointed Principal Contractor under the Responsive and Programmed Maintenance (RAPM) contract, will be responsible for delivering a range of maintenance related services in three key regions across Homes NSW’s public housing portfolio.

These services include responsive and planned maintenance for the inner west of Sydney, Southern NSW and Western NSW, covering areas such as Bathurst, Dubbo, Forbes, Wagga, Albury, and Griffith.

Creating a focus on people and social housing

Programmed is proud to be working together with Homes NSW to ensure a renewed focus on the quality and timely delivery of maintenance and repairs to support a new era in social housing maintenance that puts people at the heart of service delivery.

Programmed’s housing sector growth across ANZ

Graeme Hurn, CEO of Programmed Facility Management ANZ, expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership: “We are thrilled to partner with Homes NSW and look forward to working closely with them in providing quality housing support and services across rural and remote communities in these regions.”

The new maintenance reform kicked off for new maintenance delivery partners on 1 July 2024. This contract created more than 90 new jobs at Programmed, with multiple local service providers engaged to develop ongoing local economic stimulus and support.

Mr Hurn continued: “This new relationship ties in well with our capabilities in the housing sector across Australia and New Zealand by joining our existing customer base which already spans Western Australia, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and New Zealand.

Our teams are committed to contributing our expertise to this partnership so that the communities we serve can receive our utmost care.”

Paul Amato, Programmed’s Head of Facility Management – NSW/ACT & National Service Centre, expressed the company’s commitment to the NSW region. He stated, “We are grateful for the opportunity to extend our quality maintenance services and foster good relationships with the people we serve, thereby making a positive impact on the communities in the NSW region.”

Programmed is proud to be part of the ongoing service improvements and goals set by Homes NSW for the region.
