Scholarship

As part of our work at the University of Tasmania, Programmed funds a scholarship to new and continued learning at the University. This year, as the inaugural scholarship, we worked closely with a team at the University of Tasmania to identify the selection criteria for a first-year and continuing student scholarship.

Programmed Women in Engineering Scholarship

The scholarship is named the Programmed Women in Engineering Scholarship, as the focus is for study in the field of electrical or mechanical engineering and growing female representation in STEM fields. Selection will be based on academic merit, demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in engineering, and quality of written applications. Scholarship applications were open till the end of October and the selection will be conducted by a panel of experts at the University early in 2021.

We wish our inaugural 2021 scholars all the best for their coming studies and look forward to seeing them in the workforce.
