Project Description
Programmed has worked with Cabra Dominican College for many years, providing grounds management and painting services. To preserve the roots and heritage of the college, its large historic buildings need to be maintained and kept consistent with the school’s reputation.
Additionally, in line with their vision to offer a traditional yet contemporary education, there is also a focus on improving the college’s playing surfaces. Thus, grounds management, presentation and upkeep are crucial.
It was essential to Cabra Dominican College that their supplier could work without disruption normal operating hours, or the various other college events, such as sports groups, open days and principal tours. Programmed was able to facilitate painting and grounds maintenance around these events so not to impede access and impact the school’s presentation and safety standards.
Project Solution
Drawing on extensive experience and knowledge, Programmed provided expertise on turf maintenance to support the growing sporting curriculum at the college. This included turf mowing, verti-treatments, line marking, fertilisation and a top dress programme to ensure a high quality finish befitting the school.
Plus after on-site consultations with the school, Programmed made sure all ground upgrades, maintenance and painting services were scheduled to the Cabra Dominican College events calendar with minimal disruptions and risks to safety. We ensured that the college was well presented despite the school’s busy events schedule.
Project Outcome
By offering a flexible service approach, Programmed has made a visible improvement to the school’s appearance and enhanced its image. Programmed also provides the college with one-off projects outside of the contract to ensure all of the school’s needs are met.
“Over the time I have been at Cabra Dominican College, I have found the staff at Programmed particularly helpful in being flexible to meet the needs of the college. They are a valuable resource/alternative to use for those ‘one-off’ jobs that can occur from time to time.” – Paul Angley (Business Manager, Cabra Dominican College)
