Programmed Building Projects was engaged to undertake a large-scale refurbishment across a two-level facility in HammondCare’s Caufield facility, including upgrades to all internal common areas and ensuite bathrooms.
Works involved updating timber dado rails and skirting throughout common areas, installing joinery to open voids and wash basin areas, and painting all internal common spaces. A major component of the project included the demolition and reinstatement of 52 ensuite bathrooms, requiring careful planning by our Melbourne team to minimise disruption and ensure high-quality finishes.
In addition, Programmed completed unfinished work in an adjacent building, transforming an old house into functional office and meeting spaces. The project required coordination of multiple trades, including asbestos removal specialists, demolition, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, flooring, painting, tiling and cleaning services.
