Prince of Peace Lutheran College

Everton Park, QLD

"Whether Programmed are delivering a large painting project here, or the grounds maintenance, it's always of high quality. We've seen both the grounds and the buildings come to life over the last few years."

Donna Appelman - Business Manager
Prince of Peace Lutheran College

Project Description

Located in Everton Park, Prince of Peace Junior College is a vibrant school community that values both the learning environment inside its classrooms and the presentation of its grounds. With two campuses to maintain, the College needed a long-term partner who could deliver consistent, high-quality results across both painting and grounds services.

Before Programmed became involved, the school grounds had become difficult to manage with limited internal resources. While lawns were well-kept, the gardens were overrun with weeds and required significant care to restore their appearance. The College recognised the need to not only enhance its curb appeal but also provide a safe, inviting environment for staff, families, and students.

Project Solution

Programmed Property Services was engaged under long-term contracts to deliver both commercial painting and open space maintenance services for Prince of Peace’s campuses. To ensure balance and efficiency, Programmed alternates focus each year: one campus receives a full washdown and maintenance program, while the other undergoes painting works.

Open space services included revitalising gardens, reducing weed overgrowth, and ensuring outdoor areas remained welcoming and safe. On the painting side, Programmed refreshed building exteriors and interiors, bringing tired surfaces back to life with high-quality finishes.

Flexibility and collaboration with the College’s facilities team were central to success. The Brisbane team’s consistent presence on site and strong working relationship with school staff ensured projects were carried out smoothly, with minimal disruption to the daily operation of the College.

Project Outcome

The transformation has been widely recognised across the school community. Families, staff, and students have noticed the dramatic improvement in both the buildings and the grounds, with Programmed’s efforts bringing the campus to life. The enhanced curb appeal has not only improved the overall atmosphere but also created a safer, more inviting space for all.

Positive feedback continues to flow in from the College community, highlighting the quality and reliability of Programmed’s work. For both Prince of Peace and Programmed, the project has become more than just a contract—it’s a partnership built on trust, pride, and a shared passion for creating an inspiring school environment.
